FUNDUS THEATER I Forschungstheater
Grosse Gefühle - Rehearsal with audience
HamburgFor children and families
What happens when we simply say our feelings out loud? What do they look like – and who decides which ones exist? «Grosse Gefühle» invites everyone to join in: to feel together, make things up and occasionally embrace a bit of nonsense. Together with the performers, audiences travel through the world of emotions, from ancient catharsis to brand-new words for feelings. With pens, edible paper and a hat full of emotions, we collect, laugh and experiment. A clever and playful gathering for everyone aged 7 and up.

What happens to a feeling when you put it into words? Can you make up feelings? And how does the way we feel change when we don’t just watch, but take part? «Grosse Gefühle» invites us to explore these questions together.
In this witty and thoughtful piece, the performers take the audience on a journey through the history of theatre as a place for feelings: from ancient catharsis to wild word creations for feelings that have not yet been named. How do children feel today? With pens, edible paper and a hat full of feelings, we collect, try them out and take them further. Along the way, we encounter cheer-ful pigs, sad adults, angry children and rousing political speeches.
«Grosse Gefühle» is not a conventional the-atre performance, but a playful gathering with genuine insight – for everyone aged 7 and up.
