Jason Stanley is a philosopher and one of the leading international analysts of fascism, propaganda, and the political power of language. In his books «How Propaganda Works», «How Fascism Works» and «Erasing History», he examines how democratic societies come under pressure through the spread of enemy images, the rewriting of history, and the gradual normalisation of authoritarian narratives. His work helps us understand why defending democratic public life today also requires engaging with questions of language, memory, and the conditions of living together.
