This year's dance programme is a feast for all the senses. Back in Zurich at last: Boris Charmatz, the visionary French dancer and choreographer, brings «Somnole» to the stage, a solo performance that blurs the boundaries between dream and reality. Dancing, whistling, hypnotic – Charmatz whisks us away to an intermediate world that is both delicate and wild. The way he single-handedly fills the huge shipyard stage with his presence is an experience in itself.

With «Touch Through», Zurich-based choreographer Lea Moro presents a moving evening – without any touching at all. Moving, thrilling, open to all ages. And the short pieces also feature three dance productions that are well worth seeing: Lou Djehinan Véronique's «Voix d'elle» Islam Elarabi's «Just One Tile» and Hana Umeda's «Rapeflower».

Even if they are already sold out online, there are of course still tickets available at the box office for Dorothee Munyaneza's «umuko» and her impressive solo «Toi, moi, Tituba», as well as for Ali Chahrour's «When I saw the Sea», which brings three strong women to the stage who rebel against oppression with their impressive presence. And of course: even more dance, even more emotion at the Zentral – and with free admission!
