At the core of «Bell End» sits the «asshole» – a toxic male figure, known from everyday life. Together with Arianna Camilli, Mathilde Invernon dissects his micro gestures and words, at times comical, at others repulsive. The two performers turn ingrained gender stereotypes on their head and expose the language of masculinist dominance and misogynistic violence. Between ventriloquism and singing, embodiment and deconstruction, a humorous and simultaneously unsettling performance unfolds.
